Job Policy

All jobs posted on SHUGHUL must follow this policy. These rules exist to keep the platform useful, fair, and trustworthy for everyone in Juba.

Lawful Jobs Only

All jobs posted on the platform must be lawful and legitimate. Any job that involves illegal activity, exploitation, or harm to others will be removed. SHUGHUL is intended for honest, everyday casual work.

Accurate Information

Job postings must contain accurate and honest information about the work required. This includes the job title, location, date and time, a clear description of what the work involves, and the number of workers needed. Misleading or incomplete job postings make it harder for workers to make informed decisions, and they are not allowed.

Fair Treatment

Employers are expected to treat workers with respect and fairness. This includes honoring agreed terms, providing a safe working environment, and paying as agreed. Workers are expected to perform the tasks they accepted honestly and to the best of their ability. Good communication between both sides is the foundation of a successful arrangement.

Job Categories

Jobs should be posted in the correct category so that workers can find them easily. If a job does not fit any existing category, the "Other Work" option allows employers to describe the job in their own words.

Removal of Listings

SHUGHUL reserves the right to remove any job posting that does not follow this policy. If a user repeatedly posts jobs that violate these rules, their access to the platform may be restricted. If you see a job posting that concerns you, please contact us at [email protected].
